Tue, August 15, 2006 - 9:13 AMNot to digress from the original post, but the burning man officials are making extra sure this year that only authorized drivers drive art vehicles. Meaning that if someone drives an art car that is not listed as a driver, that vehicle will be impounded for the remainder of the event. It's all fun and games and all, but would hate to see animal control loose thier vehicle because of a prank. Now the super soaker rampage, I can see. I'm bringing mine to the playa this year. -

But seriously.. if we can organize something where we can entice animal control to chase after some of us, and then all of a sudden a huge wave of furries turn the tables on them and then we can have an animal control auction of our own. :D -

Deffinitely wouldnt want to do anything harmful. perhaps someone in DPW could be bribed into tow-truck driver.
Or we could jack the thing up nice and quietly, remove the wheels and leave it sitting on cinderblocks. maybe leave a notw or some clues s to where in the open playa to find the wheels. perhaps some sort of art can be made with them :) -

Wed, August 16, 2006 - 3:15 PMI agree, nothing destructive. That's just wrong. Locking THEM up is a fun idea. and then auctioning them off to the furries to take home.
I'll see if I can make a fake boot out of wood and metal that we can "attach" to the wheels as a joke. That way it just LOOKS like it's been booted. We can put some sort of furry logo on it and let them know that they have been marked for corral. :-D -

I just spoke to an Animal Control officer tonight. The van is no more. It broke down last year and they are hoping to borrow someone's art car for the wednesday roundup--yeah, only ONE day of roundups this year. :(
I'd still like ot get some sort of raid on them, either a counter attack on Wednesday or on another day. Hopefully there are no spies on this list. :) -

We show up at thier camp, round them all up, and give them all bunny ears and cat tails! I have about 10 pairs of bunny ears I can throw towards this. Anyone else?
They will be assimilated into animals. -

But I think if we hold him down and tickle him, and then put bunny ears on him while he's distracted, he'll hopalong with us quite nicely.
And it would be nice to see you again! We've just met in passing. :-)

Wed, August 16, 2006 - 10:24 AMWell, you know that the billion bunny march happens on friday... and the bunnies often get abducted by BRC animal control. Perhaps they need a bit of protection at that point as well.
Me and my friend are planning do wreak havoc whenever we feel... but I've redrawn some special card (via Sly Cooper) to leave them fun messages ^^
